Kingslayer's Frostfang — Transmog Set Guide

Kingslayer's Frostfang is an epic-quality one-handed dagger added to World of Warcraft with The War Within expansion. For transmogrification, the intellect binding does not matter — the appearance is locked into the collection on any character on the account, and it can then be applied to any dagger available to your class.

The dagger belongs to the weapon set of the Azj-Kahet region dungeons and stylistically echoes the gear of the nerubians from the City of Threads. It is one of those blades that looks especially natural as a pair — two identical blades in both hands on a rogue, or one in the off-hand on a caster, give a cohesive nerubian silhouette.

Kingslayer's Frostfang drops from the "Fangs of the Queen" encounter in the City of Threads dungeon. This is a paired fight: the assassin Nx and his sister Vx trade places over the course of the fight, and the dagger you want drops specifically from Nx.

To farm the dagger reliably, the most convenient approach is to run the City of Threads on a Mythic+ key: boss loot is guaranteed to appear at the end of the run, and the accompanying key loot adds value to every pass.

Kingslayer's Frostfang has no color recolors with separate item IDs as "a different color," but the model itself has an exact twin in this same dungeon. Similar silhouettes are worth looking for among other nerubian-themed weapons from The War Within expansion.

Splice 'n Dice uses the same weapon model as Kingslayer's Frostfang — it is an agility dagger that drops from the final boss of the same dungeon.
