Leviathan Mk II Crowd Control Blade — Transmog Set Guide

The Leviathan Mk II Crowd Control Blade is a two-handed sword, or more precisely a weapon illusion that unlocks the corresponding appearance for your account's collection. The model is built in a techno-mechanical style: a massive blade with gears and metal joints that references the Leviathan siege engine from the Ulduar raid. It is an unmistakable "engineering" silhouette that stands apart from the usual knightly and elven swords.

The item was added in patch 11.0.5 of The War Within, when the Timewalking event vendors received a large shipment of weapon appearances. It is pure cosmetic through and through: item level 1, no stats, no reason to equip it in combat. All of its value lies in the appearance, which after being used stays in your collection forever and becomes available to every character on your account.

The appearance is sold by Auzin, a vendor of goods for time travelers. You can find him in Dalaran above Northrend, in Crystalsong Forest.

• The easiest way to get there is through the portal to old Dalaran from your faction capital, or via the teleport directory.

An important detail: Auzin's stock of weapon appearances is only available during an active Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking event. If the event is not running right now, the vendor is still standing in place, but he will not have the items you need — you will have to wait for the next week of the corresponding Timewalking event.

You earn the Timewarped Badge currency by completing dungeons in Timewalking mode. A single run drops a noticeable stack of badges, so the 1,800 for this blade can be gathered in a few dungeons, especially if you also complete the event's weekly quest along the way.

This appearance has no color variations (recolors) — it exists in a single version only. But during the same week, Auzin sells a whole lineup of weapon appearances of similar rare quality, so you can pick out a replacement or addition right from him.
