Light's Justice — Transmog Set Guide
Overview

Light's Justice is an epic one-handed mace that arrived in World of Warcraft with The Burning Crusade expansion. It is a short head on a sturdy handle with a soft golden-white glow, designed in the bright palette of the Silver Vanguard and the paladin aesthetic of the Light.
The model is finished in warm tones: a milky-white head, golden fittings, and a restrained shine. The silhouette is compact and tidy, without bulky spikes, so the mace reads well as a "healer's weapon" or that of a servant of the Light. By its stats it is an item for specializations that use intellect, but today it is valued above all for its appearance in transmogrification.
Source
The mace drops from the final boss of the Karazhan raid — Prince Malchezaar, an eredar in the service of the Burning Legion who seized the tower after Medivh's disappearance.
- Source — the Karazhan raid in the Deadwind Pass zone, Eastern Kingdoms.
- The drop chance from Prince Malchezaar is around 15.53%, which is noticeably higher than a typical raid drop.
- The item becomes soulbound on pickup, so it cannot be passed to another character — the appearance is unlocked for whoever loots it.
- Karazhan is The Burning Crusade content; at Midnight max level the raid is cleared solo without trouble, and no separate attunement chain is required at the current stage.
- Prince Malchezaar is the last boss in the raid, so for a single mace you will have to clear the tower to the end or use saved clear progress.
How to Get There
- The entrance to Karazhan is located at the southern tip of Deadwind Pass, between Duskwood and the Swamp of Sorrows.
- From the Alliance side it is most convenient to fly to Duskwood and head east toward the pass.
- From the Horde side, start from the Swamp of Sorrows and go west.
- Flying within the old Azeroth zone itself is unavailable, so part of the way to the tower will have to be covered on the ground.
Alternatives
This mace has no widely known color variants with the same head that could be confirmed. If you need a replacement with a similar bright one-handed mace silhouette, consult the Wowhead appearance catalog and pick a model to suit your set.
- A full list of one-handed mace appearances is in the Wowhead transmog database.
- When putting together a healer look, it is convenient to compare models by head color and handle length right in the Wowhead preview.
Visual Suitability
- Suits looks in a bright white-and-gold palette — priest and paladin sets of the Light.
- Harmonizes with plate and cloth sets in ivory and gold tones.
- The compact head looks good paired with a shield or tome for a servant-of-the-Light look.
- Contrasts with dark armor in the style of the Fel or undeath — a debatable but expressive touch.
Tips
Most often the mace is farmed solo at Midnight max level — Karazhan stopped requiring a group long ago.
You can enter the raid once a week per character, so to speed up farming use several characters.
The appearance is unlocked even for classes that cannot wield a mace — you only need to obtain it once and have it count toward your appearance collection.
Karazhan also drops plenty of Tier 4 raid sets and rare weapon models along the way, so a full clear is worth combining with other farming.
Saved clear progress helps: if the raid is already partly done, you can go straight to Prince Malchezaar.
On classes with high mobility and steady self-healing, a full clear of the tower takes less time.
