Overview

Миракоран, Неистовая тетива

Game iconMiracoran, the Vehement Chord is an epic-quality bow added to World of Warcraft with the Mists of Pandaria expansion (patch 5.2). It is a curved Zandalari bow with a massive wooden limb, bone and gold inlays, and distinctive troll carvings. The dark wood is paired with warm golden-amber accents, making the weapon an instantly recognizable example of the Zandalari style of the Throne of Thunder raid.

The bow is suited to hunters — the only class that uses this weapon type in the current version of the game. The item level is 47 and the minimum equip level is 35, but at the current stage of the game these values are irrelevant: the item is taken purely for its appearance.

Source

Miracoran drops from the boss Horridon — the second boss of the Throne of Thunder raid in Pandaria.

  • Source: the Throne of Thunder raid, the boss Horridon.
  • The appearance is available on several raid difficulties, so you can farm it on whichever is most convenient for soloing.
  • The raid belongs to Mists of Pandaria and is easily soloed at the current level — Horridon dies in mere seconds.
  • The limit is one run per week per difficulty on a single character, so to speed up the collection, bring in additional characters.
  • Horridon himself stands at the start of the raid, and the path from the entrance to him is short.

To enter the raid, open the Adventure Guide, select Throne of Thunder and use the teleport to the entrance, or fly to the Isle of Thunder in Pandaria and enter manually.

Alternatives

The appearance is rendered in the Zandalari troll style shared across the weapons of the Throne of Thunder raid. The model itself has few exact color variants, but the same raid and the Isle of Thunder zone feature weapons of a similar aesthetic — dark wood with gold and bone.

  • Other Zandalari bows and crossbows drop from the bosses of the Throne of Thunder — they are close in silhouette and palette.
  • Similarly styled troll weapons can be found among event rewards and rare mobs on the Isle of Thunder.

Who It Suits Visually

  • It harmonizes with Zandalari and troll sets in a dark-gold palette, especially with armor from the Throne of Thunder raid.
  • It looks great in "jungle" and "savage" hunter looks built on leather, bone, and feathers.
  • The warm amber accents pair with golden and bronze armor.
  • It contrasts with cold blue and steel armor — a debatable but striking choice.

Tips

1

The fastest way to farm is to enter the raid solo at the current level and kill Horridon once a week.

2

Bring in additional characters: each one grants a separate weekly attempt at the drop.

3

Choose a difficulty convenient for soloing — the appearance is identical, so there's no point in paying extra time for heroic.

4

It is most convenient to farm on a hunter or a mobile class to quickly run from the entrance to Horridon.

5

Before entering, make sure you have selected the right difficulty in the Adventure Guide, otherwise the attempt will be wasted.

6

The obtained appearance is bound to your account, so it is enough to collect it just once on any character.

Got into World of Warcraft back in Legion, when everyone was obsessing over their artifacts. I've tried almost everything but still haven't settled on a main — I play whoever didn't get nerfed this week. I love the lore and digging up the quest details that everyone else just skips past.
