Morsel Sniffer Reins
Overview

Morsel Sniffer Reins is a flying mount added to World of Warcraft in update 10.1 "Embers of Neltharion" (Dragonflight). The mount is a
Morsel Sniffer — a large sniffer that the niffen bred specifically to seek out the most deeply hidden morsels of treats in the depths of the Zaralek Cavern. The creature walks the ground on four paws and flaps its leathery wings to fly, while its harness is decorated with bags for collected trophies and a pouch on its long nose.
The mount is sold by the quartermaster of the Loamm Niffen faction — Harlow Marl — for 800 Dragon Isles Supplies. To unlock the item, you need to reach Renown level 18 with the Loamm Niffen.
Why You Want This Mount
- Unique sniffer model — this is the first player-controlled sniffer among all the game's mounts. Sniffers are a symbol of Loamm Niffen culture, and owning such a steed emphasizes your connection to the faction
- Full flight and dragonriding — the Morsel Sniffer supports both regular hovering and the dynamic Dragonriding flight system, making it a versatile means of transport across the Dragon Isles and the Zaralek Cavern
- Account-wide access — once purchased, the mount unlocks on all characters of your account regardless of faction and class
- Reward for invested effort — Renown 18 with the Loamm Niffen requires lengthy reputation farming, so the mount serves as a clear confirmation of your progress in patch 10.1
- An atmospheric companion for Zaralek — the Morsel Sniffer fits perfectly into the underground landscapes of the Zaralek Cavern and the story of the "Embers of Neltharion" expansion

How to Gather Dragon Isles Supplies
Dragon Isles Supplies is Harlow Marl's main currency. The mount costs 800 units, and in parallel you will need Supplies for other rewards and Barter Boulders.
Main Sources
- Local tasks — almost every local task of the Dragon Isles and the Zaralek Cavern grants 25–50 Supplies
- Story quests in Zaralek — the global storyline of update 10.1 generously rewards Supplies
- Drakkari and seasonal events of the Dragon Isles — a steady 50–100 Supplies per run
- Bartering — at Ponzo in Loamm you can exchange
Barter Boulders and similar resources for Supplies at a favorable rate
Optimal Route per Session
- Start by checking the weekly quest "A Worthy Ally" and the event "Researchers Under Fire"
- Complete all burning local tasks in Zaralek: they grant both reputation and Supplies at the same time
- Drop by the main zones of the Dragon Isles and pick up Supplies from the general rotation of local tasks
Tips
Level Renown in parallel with other factions — the Inscription contract for the Loamm Niffen works across all of the Dragon Isles, so tie farming to the local tasks of the Dragonscale Expedition, the Maruuk Centaur and other factions
Don't spend all your Supplies in advance — set aside 800 Supplies for the Morsel Sniffer Reins. Besides the mount, you'll want to buy drake color variants and pets, so plan your budget
Use the alt bonus — if you already have a character at Renown level 20, finish leveling reputation on a second character with a 100–200% bonus to unlock the second set of rewards faster
Don't skip "Researchers Under Fire" — the event grants not only reputation and Supplies, but also a chance at rare items, pouches of barter boulders and dragon ingots
Watch the incense barrel — over a day in Zaralek you can gather several stacks and pull in 75–125 reputation without distraction from your main tasks
Save the mount as a favorite — after purchase, add the Morsel Sniffer to your favorites in the mount journal so it appears more often when using a random flying steed on the Dragon Isles

Started playing back in Pandaria, when the pandaren were still a novelty. Got stuck on Monk because it's the only class where you don't get dizzy after a dash. Tries to manage both tanking and kicking enemies in the face.
