Morsel Sniffer Reins

Morsel Sniffer Reins is a flying mount added to World of Warcraft in update 10.1 "Embers of Neltharion" (Dragonflight). The mount is a Morsel Sniffer — a large sniffer that the niffen bred specifically to seek out the most deeply hidden morsels of treats in the depths of the Zaralek Cavern. The creature walks the ground on four paws and flaps its leathery wings to fly, while its harness is decorated with bags for collected trophies and a pouch on its long nose.

The mount is sold by the quartermaster of the Loamm Niffen faction — Harlow Marl — for 800 Dragon Isles Supplies. To unlock the item, you need to reach Renown level 18 with the Loamm Niffen.

To become the owner of the mount, you need to raise your reputation with the Loamm Niffen faction to Renown level 18 and gather 800 Dragon Isles Supplies.

1. Unlock the Zaralek Cavern by completing the storyline of update 10.1
2. Raise your reputation with the Loamm Niffen to Renown level 18. Each Renown rank requires 2,500 reputation points, so plan a weekly rotation of activities
3. In parallel, gather Dragon Isles Supplies — this is the universal currency of the Dragon Isles, awarded for local tasks, events, chests and seasonal activities
4. Arrive in the town of Loamm in the center of the Zaralek Cavern. Use the coordinates /way #2133 56.4 55.6 to find Harlow Marl
5. Open the trade window with Harlow Marl and purchase the Morsel Sniffer Reins for 800 Dragon Isles Supplies
6. Use the item to permanently add the mount to your collection

Harlow Marl offers an extensive assortment in exchange for Dragon Isles Supplies. The Morsel Sniffer Reins unlocks at Renown level 18, but along the way to it you will gain access to a multitude of cosmetic items and pets.

Each Renown level with the Loamm Niffen requires 2,500 reputation points. The full path to rank 18 is about 45,000 reputation. To reach the mount faster, combine all available sources.

Weekly Activities

1. Pick up the quest "A Worthy Ally: Loamm Niffen" in Valdrakken and turn in 1,500 reputation points with the Loamm Niffen. The reward is 500 reputation
2. Take part in the weekly event "Researchers Under Fire" at the Dreka'zer ruins. The first completion grants 250 reputation, repeats with diminishing returns

Local Tasks and Events

• Local tasks (exclamation icons): 75 reputation for a normal one and 150 for an epic one
• Zone events (horn icon): 25–50 reputation for participation
• Chests in the cavern: 25 reputation each
• Killing unique rare enemies: 50 reputation
• Profession tasks at Khadin in Valdrakken (from Renown rank 3): 75 reputation each

Reputation Bonuses and Catapults

• Inscription contract — order a Contract: Loamm Niffen from a scribe. Each completed local task on the Dragon Isles will add 15 reputation
• Alt bonus — if your main character has reached Renown 20 with the Loamm Niffen, on the other characters of your account reputation accrues with a 200% bonus up to rank 10 and 100% up to rank 20
• Incense barrels — collect "Incense" around the cavern (turn-in items for the incense burners). They grant 25 reputation per stack

Dragon Isles Supplies is Harlow Marl's main currency. The mount costs 800 units, and in parallel you will need Supplies for other rewards and Barter Boulders.

• Complete all burning local tasks in Zaralek: they grant both reputation and Supplies at the same time
