Warmongering Gladiator's Felblood Gronnling

The Warmongering Gladiator's Felblood Gronnling is a ground mount added in patch 6.2, Hellfire Citadel, of the Warlords of Draenor expansion. Visually, the mount is a small gronn saturated with fel energy: its hide is laced with greenish veins, and infernal flames pour from its maw.

According to legend, this gronn was captured in the jungles of Tanaan at the moment Gul'dan unleashed torrents of demonic energy. Ever since, the creature has been consumed by a thirst for chaos and bows only to a warrior who has proven their superiority in the arena.

The mount belongs to the category of exclusive PvP rewards and carries the status of a "Feat of Strength." This means it cannot be granted retroactively for past achievements — it could only be earned during a specific season by meeting strict conditions.

Since the mount is no longer available, "farming" it in the classic sense is impossible. Even so, it's worth understanding the value this mount holds for players who already own it:

• Prestige. The mount proves that its owner ranked among the top 0.5% of the arena in Warlords of Draenor Season 3.
• Rarity. There are few owners — mostly veterans of the high-rated PvP season of 2015–2016.
• Collector value. In 2026, the "felblood gronns" remain one of the most recognizable lines of gladiator rewards.
• Aesthetics. The green-and-black demonic palette and aggressive animations set the gronn apart from the later gladiator dragons and bats.

If you don't have this mount, it's worth considering current alternatives — for example, the Prized Gladiator's Fel Bat from The War Within Season 2.

The requirements were only relevant during Warlords of Draenor Season 3 (roughly late 2015 to mid-2016):

• Character level: 100 (the maximum in WoD).
• Achievement: Gladiator: Warlords Season 3.
• Arena rating: placement in the top 0.5% of the rating ladder at the moment the season ended.
• Activity: at least 50 wins in rated 3v3 games at a rating of 2400 or higher during the current season.
• Format: wins were required specifically in the 3v3 format; 2v2 did not count toward the Gladiator title.

In 2026, these requirements no longer apply: the season closed long ago, and the mount has been moved into the unobtainable category.

Below is the plan players followed in 2015–2016. In the current patch, it is purely informational.

• Level your character to 100. In WoD, this was the maximum level needed to enter the rated arena.
• Gather Season 3 PvP gear. In WoD, the set was purchased with Honor and Conquest earned in combat.
• Assemble a permanent team. The 3v3 format required two coordinated partners — different classes, clean setups, and communication discipline.
• Climb in rating. The team played rated matches, aiming to break the 2400 mark and secure a place at the top of the server.
• 50 wins at a rating of 2400+. The key threshold for progress toward the title to count.
• Hold a spot in the top 0.5%. When the season ended, your place on the ladder of a specific region was what counted.
• Claim the reward. After the season closed, Blizzard delivered the "Gladiator" title and the mount by mail. From that moment, it was bound to the account and stayed in the collection forever.

In 2026, the mount cannot be obtained by any means:

• Blizzard does not return gladiator mounts from past seasons to rotation — that is the company's policy regarding "champions' exclusives."
• The achievement is marked as a Feat of Strength and has been removed from acquisition.
• Buying an account with this mount violates Blizzard's Terms of Service and risks a ban.

If your goal is a similar style, take a look at the active PvP rewards.

• Check your collection. If you played the arena actively in WoD, open the Mount Journal (Shift+P) and look for the mount under the "Ground" category.
• Save screenshots. Exclusive mounts are part of a character's in-game history. A photo against the backdrop of a rare mount makes for a pleasant reminder.
• Keep an eye on current seasons. Every season brings a new line of gladiator rewards — don't miss the chance to earn an equivalent for your own era.
• Don't trust third-party "delivery services." Any offers to "bring back" an old mount are scams.
