Malavita
Malavita first discovered World of Warcraft in Draenor, but truly got into the game with the Shadowlands expansion. Has a soft spot for Demon Hunters and Mages. Considers her main goal to be collecting as many mounts as possible.
The
Armored Frostboar is a ground mount from the Warlords of Draenor era, the reward for the Advanced Husbandry achievement. The boar is clad in heavy plate armor with blue accents and spiked pauldrons, making it one of the most recognizable boar mounts in the game. In the current version of The War Within (TWW, patch 11.1, 2026), the mount is earned in exactly the same way as in the original: through your Draenor garrison and a series of training rides across Nagrand. The reward is added to your collection automatically once the achievement is completed — no mail, no item in your bags.
The farm is designed for a single player and takes one or two evenings at level 80. With TWW character scaling, killing the required targets is easy even with the Black Claw of Sethe debuff active; the key is to correctly distribute the mobs among your six training mounts.

In your Draenor garrison, choose the Stables as one of your large buildings. Build it up to level 2 — for this you need the
Blueprint: Stables, Level 2, which is bought from Draenor architects or drops from garrison missions. It is at level 2 that the quests for taming the six training mounts unlock, along with the ability to pick up the Black Claw of Sethe.
From the stable keeper, take the quest chain: each quest rewards you with one training mount. There are six in total:
Each mount goes into a separate slot and works only within the stable quests. Without completing these quests you cannot earn the achievement.
After upgrading the Stables to level 2, enter the building once: a glowing object, the Black Claw of Sethe, will appear on the ground. Pick it up — the item goes into your bag and grants a debuff of the same name when you mount a training mount. Under the debuff, your speed is reduced by 25% and incoming damage is increased by 25%. It is in this state that you must kill the achievement bosses.
Use the portal from your garrison or a hearthstone. All six targets are in Nagrand, and it is easiest to travel between them on a regular flying mount, switching to a training mount on the ground — the debuff only works during ground movement.
Under the effect of the Black Claw of Sethe, while mounted on a training mount, kill in turn:
Each of the six bosses must be defeated while you are mounted on each of the six training mounts. In total: 6 × 6 = 36 kills. You can swap mounts at any time — what matters is that the finishing blow is dealt while you are riding the right training mount and have the Black Claw of Sethe in your inventory.
After the 36th qualifying kill, the Advanced Husbandry achievement is awarded. The Armored Frostboar is automatically added to your mount collection — check the "Collections → Mounts → Draenor" section.
Keep your inventory free: quest rewards, training lassos, and other stable-line items take up slots, and you don't want to lose the Black Claw of Sethe.
Once every six kills, check the achievement progress in the panel: it highlights which targets you have already finished off and with which mount.
If the Black Claw of Sethe disappears from your inventory (for example, after cleaning out your bags or going far beyond Draenor), it usually returns to the floor in the Stables — just go in and pick it up again.
Alongside farming the boar, complete the rest of the stable quests: this advances the Stables achievement and related rewards — the talbuk and boar armor that visually complete the look.
If you have already upgraded the Stables to level 3, the training mounts and the achievement target remain available — the upgrade breaks nothing, contrary to old rumors.
For collectors: after gathering the Armored Frostboar, immediately finish off the
Armored Frostwolf (for "Master of Mounts") — you'll get two Draenor mounts from a single trip to Nagrand.
