Get Plundered Tiki-Bound Blade
Overview

Plundered Tiki-Bound Blade is a rare one-handed dagger from the Battle for Azeroth expansion, added alongside the Island Expeditions system. The weapon model is styled after Zandalari tribal totems: the hilt and crossguard are carved from wood and bone, the blade is decorated with fine inlay, and a miniature tiki totem with a greenish glow is fixed to the pommel. The color scheme blends warm wood, darkened bone, and muted turquoise accents.
Source
The dagger drops from Island Expedition rewards — a three-player group activity introduced in Battle for Azeroth. The specific source is the reward chests granted for taking part in the expeditions.
- The activity is available from level 50 once expeditions are unlocked in your faction's capital.
- Difficulties: Normal, Heroic, Mythic, and a PvP variant. The chance for transmog rewards is higher on Mythic difficulty.
- Rewards are random loot from the shared expedition item pool, individually tied to the player's specialization.
- The dagger is only obtainable while playing a rogue specialization at the moment the expedition ends — other classes will not receive it.
- There is no weekly attempt cap: you can rerun expeditions endlessly to farm the drop.
- Additional reward chests are granted for completing the weekly "Island Expeditions" quest, which requires earning a set amount of Azerite.
The recommended approach is to run Mythic difficulty with a group, with a rogue specialization on one of the characters. Clearing a single expedition takes 10–20 minutes depending on the map and opponents.
Visual Fit
- It fits well into sets with Zandalari and troll aesthetics — carved totems, feathers, bones, and tribal patterns.
- It pairs with armor from the Uldir raid and the Zandalari dungeons of Battle for Azeroth thanks to the shared palette of wood and turquoise.
- It harmonizes with themed druid and shaman sets, despite being worn by a rogue — the tribal style reads as universal.
- It combines with green and turquoise cloaks, belts with pendants, and skulls on the belt.
- It contrasts with heavy metal armor — a debatable but memorable choice for a "wild bounty hunter" look.
Tips
Before starting expeditions, make sure your rogue specialization is active, otherwise the dagger will not appear as a reward.
Bring friends or allies of the same specializations who need expedition loot: chests are granted individually.
Mythic difficulty yields more Azerite and transmog rewards per unit of time than Normal or Heroic.
Don't overlook the PvP variant of Island Expeditions: with a lucky draw, it closes out faster than PvE Mythic.
Beyond the dagger itself, the shared loot pool holds dozens of other armor and weapon pieces — you can close out several different slots in a single run.
Leveling a character above level 50 does not disable access to expeditions, but with a large level lead the difficulty adjusts automatically.
The dagger is bind-on-equip, so if it drops on an alt you can mail it to your main character before previewing it.
