Staff of Feral Furies is an epic-quality two-handed staff from the reward shelf of the Argent Tournament. Despite the epic tint of its name, its stats make it a weak starter weapon; its only real value for a modern player is the appearance.
The staff's model leans into a natural, "druidic" aesthetic: a wooden shaft topped with a crown of interwoven branches and leaves. This look fits druids, shamans, and nature-keeper concepts well, which is why the staff is in demand for themed transmog sets.
The item arrived in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion (patch 3.1.0) as one of the Argent Tournament rewards. This is the Horde variant; the Alliance has a mirror counterpart with a different model.

Tips
First complete the Argent Tournament chain up to the rank of champion of your capital — without this the quartermasters will not sell the weapon.

The appearance is faction-bound: on the Horde take this staff, on the Alliance the Silvery Sylvan Stave with an analogous model.
This is a two-handed staff, so the appearance applies to any staff through the transmogrifier.
While you're at it, browse the rest of the quartermasters' stock: a few more weapon appearances and pets are sold for seals.
At max level the tournament daily quests are done very quickly, so farming the currency does not take much time.
If you are saving seals for tournament mounts or pets, plan your budget in advance — the staff is cheap, but the tournament rewards compete for the same currency.
