Staff of Incandescent Torment is a two-handed staff of epic quality, added in the Dragonflight expansion alongside the raid Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope. It is a weapon for Intellect-based specializations: priests, mages, warlocks, shamans, druids and other spellcasters.
The staff's model is steeped in the raid's fiery-woodland aesthetic: a dark, twisted shaft topped with a finial of smoldering embers and crimson tongues of flame, evoking the fiery threat of Fyrakk and the scorched roots of Amirdrassil. Its warm red-orange palette makes the staff a striking accent in sets built around fire, fel or autumn foliage.

The staff drops from the first boss of the raid Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope — this is Gnarlroot, an animated "war tree" spawned by Fyrakk's flame.

Gnarlroot stands almost at the entrance, so in a single run you can farm just him without clearing the entire raid.
A high drop chance of around 28% means that on average the staff drops within a few weeks of regular runs.
Lower the difficulty to Raid Finder or Normal if you want to guarantee clearing the content without risk on a weak alt.
The appearance unlocks account-wide, so you can farm with whichever character is most convenient to enter the raid with.
